Celebrating since the 70’s

In order to highlight the growing need for concern and awareness about autism, the Autism Society has been celebrating National Autism Awareness Month since the 1970's. The United States recognizes April as a special opportunity for everyone to educate the public about autism and issues within the autism community. Beginning with Thursday’s post, Julia’s World will help bring awareness this month through sharing personal snippets of communication strategies from Julia’s journey and why the visuals were created. Each board represented in the posts will be available for free download from our printable page. Should you find them of value to you, please share the post on your social media sites.
